Event Description
Every two weeks, one of the world’s 7,000 spoken languages is lost to colonialiand globalization. David Harrison and Gregory Anderson, two young linguists, who speak 25 languages between them, want to change that. These professors travel to Siberia, Bolivia and India to rescue dying tongues. Director Jeremy Newberger will speak about the making of the film. Spanish, Russian,Hindi, Chemehuevi, Sora, Quecha and English, with English subtitles (64 minutes)
